the world, Adilio Porto - The Master of the Zouk Masters.
AZC realises a dream of bringing together passionate Zouk lovers from across the country in one dazzling
weekend of competitions and shows. Prepare to be spellbound! At AZC you will watch the best Zoukers in each
state compete to determine who is the best in Australia. This magical event will leave you awestruck with the
sensual movement and hypnotic rhythm of this beautiful dance. Any Zouk and Brazilian dance lover will not
want to miss this event!

We are Brazilian Dance Masters and have been working here in Australia for more than 10 years. In 2008 we produced the first ever Brazilian Dance
Congress, the Brisbane Brazilian Dance Congress.
Now we are running the first ever Australian Zouk Championships that will involve all states. State Champions from around Australia will compete on
Saturday June 12 and Sunday 13 in 2010 (Queen's Birthday long weekend) for the Australian Zouk Title.
In 2011 AZC will run together with the mega Zouk International Congress Produced by Yes Brasil. To be held on the Queen's Birthday
long weekend - June 10, 11 & 12 - this event will be a congress never before seen in Australia with workshops, Brazilian Cuizine, Portuguese (Brazilian Language)
performances and parties featuring only the best Brazilian Dance artists in the world.
At AZC in 2010 and Planet Zouk and AZC in 2011 you will experience not only our dance but a little of our culture. Artists teaching and performing
at these events understand Brazil and will explain to you the stories and history behind our world-famous dance. At both of these fantastic events you
will discover your Brazilian soul..

Adilio Porto is the biggest name of Zouk in the world. To talk about Zouk without
reference to Adilio Porto is not truly talking about Zouk.He is the Master of the Zouk
Masters.
Adilio will be teaching 4 workshops, including 2 for Zouk proffesionals. If you are

To qualify for AZC (Australian Zouk Championships) in Sydney on the June 2010 Queen's Birthday
long weekend, you need to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your State Zouk Championships competition.
All applications for the competition in your State must be sent to the State Zouk Championships organiser in your city.
Check the State Championships link above to contact the event organiser in your state.

8.pm sharp - Extra Competition tfor more 2 places to compete for the National Title (AZC) at the same night
9pm - Names of the Australian Zouk Champions 2010 announced.
9pm till 10:30am - Party ( 5 Zouk, 2 Salsa and 1 Bachata)
10:30 - Shows of Zouk, Salsa Bachata and Samba with the most prestigious dance schools in Australia
and to close the Saturday Night Shows, AZC Presents: A Surprise International Show
11pm till 2am party with: 5 Zouk, 2 Salsa, 1 Bachata.
